1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this School Management System ("the System"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this System.

The System provides educational management services including but not limited to:

• Communication between school staff, parents, and students.
• Class and grade administration.
• Reporting and analytics for educational purposes.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To access certain features of the System, you may be required to register for an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying the administrator immediately of any unauthorized use.
• Providing accurate and complete information during registration.
• Updating your information to keep it accurate and current.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the System for any of the following purposes:

• Uploading, posting, or transmitting any unlawful, harmful, or objectionable content.
• Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation.
• Interfering with or disrupting the System or servers connected to the System.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the System.
• Collecting or storing personal data about other users without consent.
• Using the System for any commercial purpose without authorization.

5. Student and Parent Responsibilities

Parents, guardians, and students using this System agree to:

• Provide accurate personal and academic information.
• Respect the privacy of other users in the System.
• Use the System only for legitimate educational purposes.
• Report any errors or issues in the System promptly.
• Follow the school's code of conduct and policies at all times.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The System and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the school and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the System without written permission.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the System is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the System, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. All data stored in this System is used only for system requirements and educational purposes.

8. System Availability

We strive to provide continuous availability of the System but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The System may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates.
• Technical issues or server problems.
• Force majeure events beyond our control.
• Security concerns requiring immediate action.

9. Limitation of Liability

The System is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the System or the information, content, or materials included. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the System immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the System will immediately cease.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the System after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the System shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
